Parenting Coordinator

Dr. Hochberg does court-ordered Parenting Coordination and Re-unification Therapy.

Having had intensive postdoctoral mediation training from the New Jersey Bar Association, Dr. Hochberg is on the Roster of Parenting Coordinators for Courts in New Jersey.

Divorced parents often have continuing conflicts that affect their children, despite having an established parenting plan.  As a Parenting Coordinator, Dr. Hochberg is a neutral professional, who helps separated and divorced families resolve difficult parenting issues and conflicts.  Parenting Coordination focuses on "The Best Interests of the Child." 

The Parent Coordinator is appointed by the Court and/or agreed to by parents.  Dr. Hochberg may meet with parents, children, and others, in order to assess the situation, reduce conflicts, avoid litigation, and help parents make optimal decisions for their children.
